Security-Bits Labs houses a cute Dascom DC-7600 duplex card printer with a resolution of 600 x 600dpi printing 85,6 x 53,98 mm cards with 2112px x 1324px. Being a transfer printer, it allows borderless printing of next to any design.

UV Sensitive Prints

In addition to the typical visible layers, we have a UV film, which allows the addition of a little something special. The UV print can be seen …under UV light… and in addition, when carefully tilting the card. On the following images you can see it in plain light in the top left corner of the card. For the first set of images, the UV layer is printed as a positive, thus the text glows under UV light. On the other side, the UV layer is printed as a negative. As such the text stays darker under UV light.

Capable of printing 65 cards per hour, it does the job for both individual cards, but also larger wishes.
